Responsibilities include:
- Managing complex medical cases
- General cardiac care
- Peri-operative consultations
- ECG interpretation
- Supervising treadmill and MIBI testing

West Coast General Hospital, Port Alberni
Join a close-knit team providing comprehensive General Internal Medicine, including intensive and coronary care services. On-site diagnostics include cardiac stress testing, pulmonary function testing, Holter monitoring and ambulatory blood pressure monitoring.
Cowichan District Hospital
Be part of a growing community and an exciting future. A new state-of-the-art hospital is opening in 2027, offering expanded services, flexible scheduling, diverse clinical practice and teaching opportunities.
Campbell River Hospital
Provide full-service community internal medicine in a 105-bed hospital, including consultative care, ICU coverage, shared call, and cardiology diagnostics. Physicians with an interest in liver disease are encouraged to apply.
Comox Valley Hospital

Nanaimo General Hospital
Our General Internal Medicine group at NRGH currently has 5 members along with several part time members, who are a collegial group of internists of various professional backgrounds. The hospital has a large hospitalist service (220/330 patients) and is the backbone most responsible physician (MRP) service. Although we have a limited on-site cardiology group, there is timely access to a large cardiology group in Victoria.

Qualifications
- Eligible for FRCPC certification in Internal Medicine, or American Board Certification in Internal Medicine
- Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC)
